molly at chairloom is no newbie when it comes to reupholstering, but i still love to see her projects- and the incredible fabrics she uses. this chair upgrade comes courtesy of a gorgeous modern floral fabric from roberta roller rabbit (i love that name). it looks so clean and fresh. click here to check out (and buy) molly’s “afters” for sale at chairloom. thanks, molly!

I think this is one of my favourite before-and-afters ever. Not only is that a fabulous print, it suits the chair perfectly. Well done!
Wow, it looks absolutely stunning! I’m wanting to reupholster a chaise lounge, any good tips for someone who’s a total newbie??
CUTE!
great fabric!
Wowza! Amazing transformation.
YUM! I am a modernista and have a “victorianna” type client. This is where we can meet in the middle!
no way! that chair was amazing before. ):
Awesome. My one caveat is that it looks hard to keep clean? But otherwise- phenomenal job!
This is absolutely amazing! I wish I had that skill – we have a family heirloom couch from Switzerland that my fiancee wants to get reupholstered…it would be amazing to have a result like this!
love love love that after! esp. the fabric.
I think I need to learn how to reupholster! That chair came out beautifully.
Hello!
I do love the new chair, because it has the same great lines… But what I would REALLY LOVE… is the old fabric, dirty and all! I hope she saved it for someone who is an ephemera artist (LIKE me hint hint) I am sure there are many who would covet it! …

Great makeover! Is it just me, or does the before chair look like it was upholstered with a mattress?! :)
Sometimes bold, modern fabrics look out of place on more classic shapes, but this works so well.
Love it, Love it, Love it!!!! I just can’t get enough of traditional pieces with a modern twist. Great job!
Vanessa – yikes! The stains on the seat are really disgusting… You can do something with that?
I’m in love!
I love love love this makeover.
Cute! This is my favorite b&a of the week.
what FUN!
what FUN! I think you should make yourself a dress out of the same fabric, and have your portrait taken in that chair.
Wow what a transformation. I am so impressed and love the new mod fabric.
Great job!!!
I like Bernie’s comment! Any dress makers out there? Thanks everyone!
Simply beautiful.
Molly bought the fabric from Roberta Roller Rabbit where I work and she is a SUPER talented upholsterer. I am going to have her do my old chairs :-)
Another great before & after – love the fabric!
PS – Roberta Roller Rabbit has lots more fun, fabulous and reasonable fabrics! Call me for my info: 212-772-7200 :-)

Fantastic! C’est manifique : )
lovely chair with great bones and with the new fabric its diiiiiiiiivine!
Great job! Especially the matching of the fabric at the lower edge of the chair. I would have liked plain piping on this one.
Fresh take on a trad chair.
Oh, this is so beautiful, I love that fabric!
I want this chair. Now.
the fabric makes this chair so friendly and inviting…how could you not want to it in it!?
