ac and i will be in savannah this weekend so sadly i’m missing this year’s winter gift fair in nyc. but thankfully a few designers have sent previews of their collections and i’ll be sharing a few this week. i wanted to kick things off this morning with this beautiful powder-coated lighting from megan auman. based on botanical forms found in her jewelry, megan has created a new laser-cut steel home accessories line that will include baskets, decorative wall panels and this beautiful pendant lamp. each lamp comes in matte black or gloss white and will retail for between $100-$300 in february when they hit her online shop. if you’re stopping by the fair you can check these out in person at megan’s booth in accent on design, #4055. until then, click here and here to check out megan’s work online.
ps: a note to all RSS readers- last week we saw an unexpected traffic jump and our server pretty much crippled under the pressure. we’re trying to resolve the problem as i write this so i apologize for images not showing up in your feed. we had to disable them momentarily to deal with the server demands so they should be back up as soon as possible. thanks for your patience.

Hello Grace, since last Friday the pictures in your posts don’t make it through the RSS flux anymore. Any idea why?

So beautiful…I especially like the baskets! They would make a fun way to contain soft toys or mail in the living room.
Wow This is so cool! Thanks for sharing!
Megan’s new work is just stunning! So glad you posted this Grace!
The lamp is great, I would like to see it in another colors.
Abosolutely lovely. I just clicked the link to Megan’s jewelery on etsy, and now I know what I’m asking for for my b-day!
is it just me, or did this lamp appear in “the guitar” recently??
