love the sailor
Okay, I can’t actually tell if this is a relevant part of the post, but I really like that rainbow art with doves!
Has anyone ever owned an Adams rug? I love the designs and colors, but am anxious about rug-purchasing ever since I bought a Pottery Barn rug that was a smelly, unmitigated disaster. (And when I say smelly, I mean it actually smelled bad, despite vaccuming, febreezing, etc.)
I have not owned one, but every time I see something of hers I fall in love so I think my new life goal is to own at least one.
I bought an Angela Adams rug from modern economy during their online sample sale. They ran out of used ones and sent me a new one for the same price. The rug is seriously fabulous. It did smell chemical-y for the first day, but I left my window open and it aired out. The softness of the pile and the texture are so awesome. But I’ve only had the rug for a few months, so I can’t tell you how well it wears. The colors though are more vibrant in real life, and it’s thicker than I thought from the photos. We used to carry angela adams at our store. I highly recommend them. While they are not inexpensive- they are quality rugs and it’s a great company – they always stood behind their products. love them!
Being a weaver,I really like all the colors, and designs she uses in her rugs,very nice!
I’ve fallen head over heels with those rugs, they are seriously gorgeous!
