this fun project comes to us from desiree of desiree haigh photography. inspired by this luxury leather hermes key ring, she decided to make her own version for $12 instead of $195. using a pair of goodwill pants, a hot glue fun and a $5 bag of keyrings, she created her own diy version. so fun! thanks to desiree for sharing.

The link to the Hermes key ring doesn’t work for me. Got a picture?
My curiosity is piqued, I want to see what the original looked like…
PS, LOVE your blog!
How much fun! I love the original, but could never justify that much for a key ring. I might have to try this!
Wow, this is fantastic! Very elegant and looks like it will be a lot of fun to make. Definitely going on my must-make list. I’ll be linking in The Daily DIY as well. Thanks for the great project!
That is the best project ever! I am so doing that!!
Ha! Hot glue fun indeed. This would also be cute in different colored leather, too… Goodwills sometimes have old skirts in, say, a hideous green.
What a lookalike! That’s fabulous.
Wow! I’ve loved that keychain… but I love yours more! I’m going to make one! I happen to have left over leather from a design project.
love this. and it looks so lux!
