it’s always fun to meet new designing teams that are on the cusp of ‘making it big’. this new video from designing minds introduces this year’s ‘young guns award‘ recipients and their work. you’ll recognize julia rothman (and work from also design, who redesigned d*s) but there are some great designers in here i hadn’t heard of before, but am glad i know now. just click “play” above to watch the video and meet some great new voices in the community: john kudos, keetra dean dixon, julia rothman/also design, and labour’s wyeth hansen and ryan dunn.

there shouldn’t be autoplay- it doesn’t autoplay for me and i asked for a non-autoplay version of this from the producers…
is it auto-playing for anyone else?

It is autoplay on the library computer I am using right now. It doesn’t bother me, though, and I am so excited to see Julia Rothman’s Sealyham drawing. I bought it, or a similar one that she donated to the Wurstminster Dog Show a couple of years back. I love it!
Hi, sorry it auto-played for me too, I spent a frantic five minutes clicking through all my tabs trying to find where the hell that noise was coming from!

what browser’s are you using? i tried it out on a few browsers on a mac and pc and it’s not auto-playing for me. i’m sorry about that- i went back and asked the series producers for a non-auto play version for that reason- i hate to surprise anyone with video or audio they didn’t specifically ask to play ;)
