these beautiful photos are the work of brazilian design office, rosenbaum. their latest project is this lovely restraunt in sau paulo, dalva e dito. the project was designing to combine clean, modern lines with a revival of ‘colonial brazil’. i love the contrast of the cane-back chairs and wall murals with the modern open kitchen. below the restaurant photos are some shots of their residential work- you can see more of their projects right here. I am in love with the tiled outdoor patio space. The overhanging greenery is like the perfect ‘hat’ for the room.

I’m with you Tabitha- the home office is stunning. I’m looking now for some ideas to remodel our home office and this space is really inspiring. I love the bright colors! I may create later an home office ideabook at houzz to get more ideas how to remodel.

After two visits, Sao Paulo has felt like the kind of place who’s attractions don’t jump off the map, but with intense exploration is very rewarding. I can’t wait to try dalva e dito on my next visit and hopefully add another gem to my expanding list of Sao Paulo must-sees/eats! Thanks for highlighting a city, that despite its’ size, doesn’t get much attention : )
I love the hydraulic mosaics on the floor. In fact I am right now in Rio photographing all the hydraulic mosaics I can find in the many historic buildings downtown.
Wow! I spent a month last year in Brazil and around every corner I was blown away but their incomparable sense of style. These pictures brought me right back there! I think I need to go back….soon!

I live in Rio – where he has some interior design as well – but in São Paulo you’re sure to bump into many of his projects. I love his quest for Brazilian true soul in design. It’s always so interesting to see the interior of businesses (especially when they are located in other countries)…
I was there yesterday for lunch: perfect food, nice settings, cool people… some bugs out from the plants but it adds to the protein menu (just kidding) .-)
