helen ige + stephanie meurer calendars

last week the winterns and i stopped by abc home in the city on our quest for great nyc shop windows (stay tuned for the results of our outing on wednesday). when we poked our heads into the cursive section of the shop i was immediately smitten with this metallic cloth calendar by helen ige. although it doesn’t have space for writing down events (i know this is everyone’s- including mine- pet peeve) it’s still a really lovely calendar for the home or office. the gold is incredibly shiny and rich looking in person so if you’re in the market for a new 2009 calendar you can stop by cursive at abc home (say hi to MK if you see her!) to pick up one, or pick one up online at ige’s site for $24.

ps: stay tuned for a special trend roundup at 1pm today…

i’m also loving this letterpress calendar from stephanie meurer at etsy. it’s only $22.50 right here

Oh! ABC Home! Don’t forget to have some chocolate goodness at the chocolate bar in there. Michel Cluizel is delicious. There is nothing I like better than surrounding myself with pretty things and good chocolate.

That beautiful Helen Ige calendar is also available at Anthro and Shabby Chic. inf act, it’s on sale for only $14 on the Shabby Chic web site.

I was thinking the same thing, eileen, but it’s currently sold out on Shabby Chic.

MK here, manager of Cursive. We have quite a few calendars in the gold color (shown), and they also come in silver!

FYI – Unfortunately, Michel Cluizel closed their shop at ABC a few months back.

Happy Holidays!
