the holidays are almost here and i’m so excited for next week and a few days of family time and good food. until then i’m working on our 2008 gift guides which will start the week after thanksgiving- we’ve got some great budget-friendly themes, as well as ac’s guide for guys and a slew of others arranged by theme and price. but for now i’m off to the city to wait in line with friend sara and every other 13 year old girl in the city to see twilight. ah, to be the makeup girl who gets to touch robert pattinson‘s face every day. swoon. have a wonderful weekend and i’ll see you on monday!
ps: i also wanted to share these colorful, eco-friendly (made using eco-solvent and low voc wallpaper) wallpapers from kreme life. designer cadee wilder sent them over and i’m positively nutty about the sherbet-colored print above. click here for more information on kreme life. [thanks, cadee!]

Beautiful wallpapers! I especially love that vibrant blue.
Grace- thanks for holding off on major holiday themes, gift guides, etc until after Thanksgiving. I HATE that Christmas gets pushed earlier and earlier by the commercial world. We’re all so sick of it by the time it’s actually there and boy, is that a shame!
Thanks for practicing restraint!

Ummm…I’m feeling a little melty looking at these dreamy photos of dreamy wallpapers. I especially *love* the last one you have pictured. Little scenes in a yellow retro world. yum yum.
I love the last wallpaper. I wish I could wallpaper our 1/2 bath but were renting!
I love this feature on wallpaper I just found from California Home+Design

I love these modern wallpaper prints! They’re so fun. I’m partial to the yellow. Kind of reminds me a little of a grown-up version of Grow House Grow (http://shop.feelmorehuman.com/m-98-Grow-House-Grow.aspx) with the bright colors and fun patterns.
Nice work!
Oh man! I was all excited about re-doing our bathroom this weekend into a wee pink pastry of a room but now it won’t be nearly as pretty as it would with that top sherbert-y wallpaper! Well, someday I will have it!
Haha. I definitely hit the theater this morning to watch Twilight–and avoided the crowd of teeny boppers to indulge in my guilty pleasure of teen vamps ;) I’ve got my own opinions of the movie but I’d love to hear yours!
I love the picture of “On Beauty” in that shot–such a great book and another great holiday gift ;)
[off-topic]:
Grace: saw the article about you in Domino, you looked so cute! Just wanted to share my latest obsession with you: I just checked the Anthropologie sale section for furniture — totally at random, I never look — and check this out — their very delicious ditte sofa, in linen leaf,
Now $1,499.95 Was $3,498.00 ! That’s 2,000 off! I instantly thought of you. It’s only this color as an option, probably because people don;t want to decorate around the color green, but you would. REally, you should check it out.

i was so, so disappointed in twilight. i don’t want to say more and spoil anything.
i spent half the film saying “oh man, he’s so beautiful” and the other half cringing and laughing out loud at the cheesiness of it all. eek.
that said, i’ll totally see the second one if they manage to work edward into the story more. i can’t stand jacob OR the kid who plays jacob. watch the teen vogue video with him and the rest of the cast and you’ll see why.
and yes, i watched the teen vogue video. robert pattinson has seriously driven me to embarrassing behavior ;)
grace
oh man you totally outted me about going to twilight! man that was bad! i was cracking up thinking about that tree scene.
ill still go see the second one.
Pretty paper! I love the blue. I missed blue. Seems I haven’t seen it used much in design for a while.
Good to see you again.
And Ooooh I wish I was his make-up artist too!
I really like the last wallpaper. I love the fact that you don’t see the birds at first glance…
Hello,
Love, love, love these colourful wallpapers!
