I’m so glad that Grace was nice enough to invite me over to Designsponge to tell the story of my remodel. This is the part in the story that I should be saying that even though we went through 3 years of hard work and long nights it was worth it because we love our house and wake up every morning happy to have finished. The truth is that we do love the house, and we are happy to be finished, but we no longer live there. We put it on the market on a whim about three months after we had finished it, and it sold in a week. We have since moved to a new home that hasn’t been touched on the inside since the 60′s. We must be total gluttons for punishment because in the 8 months we have been in our new home we have already torn up our carpet and refinished our old hardwood floors, painted our whole upstairs, and we are currently in the middle of completely gutting our kitchen. I even had a chance to rip down some walls just like the old days.

It’s been a fun week guest blogging over here at Designsponge, I hope that some of you will head over to Grassrootsmodern next week to vote on our affordable modern kitchen entries, as well as follow the progress of and give us your input on our current project.
Thanks for reading!
