Fun stuff. The octopus with flowers is just wild, and there’s a deer with butterflies all in and around his antlers that’s pretty sweet, too.

One thing – I’m not sure if anyone else had this happen, but when I clicked on the link that you provided for his work, I was redirected to a website that tried to install a virus on my computer. That could be a problem with MY network or with his website, but just wanted to let you know…

I also couldn’t get to the site because of the virus thing. My firewall was not turned on at the time, but now it sure is! I asked one of my tech support friends and he said that the site could have been hacked.

Hey everyone. Thanks for the kind words! As for the site, I ran some tests over here on macs and pc’s and didn’t come up with any warnings either. Also contacted my hosting company so that they are aware. Sorry for any scares!
The virus warning pop ups showed up when I tried to click on the links through the RSS feed, but the links were fine when I accessed them from the original article.
I also got the virus thing! (Am on a Mac.) It happened both when I clicked through the links here, and when I put his name into Google and tried to click on the “Shop John Murphy” link that came up there, so definitely his site, I think.
But the collages are gorgeous! Hopefully the bug will be fixed soon.
i got the virus thing too and I’m at home – no firewall. would really love to check them out though – they’re beautiful!

that frame is actually from Target ($16.99!) All the prints are standard sizes so framing should be e-z

Thank you so much for posting John’s artwork! I saw one of his pieces in NYMag some time ago and fell in love with his aesthetic. I’ve got to have one of these pieces. The crucial question is: deer or octopus?!
