it’s not often that i know where i’ll be 3 weeks in advance, but i know exactly where i’ll be on december 8th- in lena corwin‘s house making my holiday gifts by hand. lena recently started teaching craft classes in her home and i couldn’t resist her latest series- stamping! i’m something of a stamp fanatic so this class was right up my alley.

with the economy in the dumps and holiday shopping around the corner, i’m more excited than ever to be making gifts by hand. it’s always nice to save a little money and have something special to gift that you made by yourself. lena is offering two stamping classes (one on dec 1 and the other on dec 8th, both from 6-8pm) this season, both of which are $90 per person. your fee will cover all necessary stamping supplies (pre-cut stamps, paint, materials to make your own stamps, etc.) and all you need to bring is whatever you’d like to print on (t-shirts, bags, fabric). lena will be serving snacks and hot cider so if you’re in the area i highly suggest investing in the evening. it’s hard to beat an evening where you get to work with your hands, eat great snacks and meet new friends (all while checking off your holiday list!). class space is limited so if you’re interested in attending either night just click here to email lena. i’ll be there on december 8th so i hope to see some of you there!
