it’s been a long week and i’m ready for the weekend to come, so i’m off to spend some time away from the computer screen. i hope you all have a fantastic weekend and i’ll see you on monday! also, i wanted to share these beautiful 2009 letterpressed calendars ($35 each) from eva at sycamore street press. in addition to being painfully cute, 50% of each calendar’s profits will go to benefit AHOPE, a group that cares for children orphaned by aids in addis ababa, ethiopia. click here for more information and to shop. (you can also click here to take a tour of eva’s home!)
ps: if you’re in the nyc area this weekend be sure to check out the first ever greenpoint design conference taking place this saturday, october 25th from 6-8pm jan and aya (99 franklin street, brooklyn NY). some of my very favorite people will be speaking as part of the series over the coming weeks: llubav choy duerr, sarah magid, screech owl design, and joey roth (among others). click here for more information and to attend. Ah! That calendar is too cute!
i’m interested in the greenpoint conference, thanks for mentioning!
framing beautiful printed pieces is a great way to add unique art to your life. notecards, stationery and scrapbook papers area also great items to frame. thanks for sharing this beautiful calendar.
OK now don’t get me wrong I love the looks of the letterpress calendars, but this is something that has always confused me: are they only for looking at? because you definitely can’t use them for keeping track of anything. they are beautiful, but seem kind of useless…
..I wish they would make letterpress calendars that actually had space for writing…
Congratulations on the lovely article in Domino. So well deserved.

I agree with what others have said–would like to see some calendars with space for writing down appointments.
oooooh Grace, what is the little bird on top of the books?
the “click here for more information and to attend” takes me (on both my lappy and my iphone) to a google settings page that asks for my password.
I wanted to let you know quickly. I might check it out tonight.
Wish ypu a wonderful weekend!
i love this style of calendar. meant to be treasured…..
Love those calendars! Especially framed. You could collect these and they’d make a great focal point on a wall. Very nice indeed.
Once again, an awesome print from sycamore street press! I love it!
