What’s really cool about JAQK is that it’s a project started by a graphic design firm called Hatch (located in SF). The Nov/Dec issue of HOW magazine will have a feature about Hatch and their side projects like JAQK.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! JAQK Cellars was launched by the design studio I work for, Hatch (hatchsf.com) and winemaker Craig MacLean. It has been a fun team effort developing the designs for sure, and hats-off to Craig for making yet another fantastic offering of wines!

Donna – I am not sure about the free samples, but you can contact the team through jaqkcellars.com and they will know for sure. Thanks!

The JAQK poster is so fantastic. Does anyone know where I can purchase one? I’m looking around online and not having luck…

Hello everyone, unfortunately the poster above was printed in a small limited edition for the launch party, making it currently unavailable for purchase. However JAQK is indeed planning on releasing a new series of posters. For all those interested, please feel free to sign up for updates at jaqkcellars.com and we’ll be sure let you know when they are released.

ps. I am sure that the tipsy king above will find his way into that series as well!

I had the great opportunity to attend the launch party. Let me tell you…the wine is phenomenal. Craig MacLean certainly did a fantastic job creating great wines and Hatch was true to form designing amazing bottles. Your not roller unless your a High Roller!! Go JAQK!!!

Dang, I walk by this place every day on the way to work, and each time I promised myself I would google it to see what it is. Now I find out it is a wine cellar, and I missed the launch party! Oh well, I’m very excited to visit when it opens! I tend to always buy wines for gifts based solely on their bottle/label design, so I can’t wait to give these bottles away as hostess gifts:)

Nice, i want one of those JAQK bottles, will have to send my bro around as he lives in San Jose. Anyone know the way? Sorry, couldn’t resist. Nice work! M.
