Savanna loves nature and is inspired by it. She also loves old paper, dressing up, pretending, ghosts , indians, rust, very small lines, the smell of vanilla, the sea, oak trees, daydreaming, found clothes, recycled anything, hot peppers …and pugs.

And now you know why we love Savanna! Soon after we opened the shop a few years back, Savanna strolled in and showed us her work. We were smitten from day one and her work just keeps getting better and better. A Silverlake local for years and an Art Center College Of Design alum , Savanna recently relocated to Berkley in Northern California with her beau Michael Eli, whom she often collaborates with.

Whenever we get a batch of goods from Savanna we are always impressed with the selection. We might get paintings, wood carvings, sculptures or mobiles. It’s always a surprise but one thing always remains the same, her commitment to using sustainable materials.

Former assistant to Gary Baseman, Savanna has developed a pretty loyal following of her own. Keep your eye on this gal, she’s definitely going places!!
