i’m running around like a crazy person today trying to catch up on email and work that i missed while i was in new hampshire last week so i apologize for the short posts today. i’ll be back to normal tomorrow. these gorgeous rooms are part of metropolitan home‘s showtime house, a gramercy park brownstone where each room was decorated by a well-known designer and was inspired by one of showtime’s shows. can you guess which room is which? hint, the room above belongs to the show whose star just entered rehab. any guesses? the rooms below belong to the tudors, the united states of tara (?), and the obvious one- dexter.

those are all quite amazing – but i completely covet that teal chear + ottoman from the first picture. if i could find out where that’s from i would save a long time for that one…
Some people just have it. These rooms have entire essences about them. Each one totally different! amazing :) And I love that cream chair lounge in the last room!
I’m surprised there isn’t more porn in that Californication room, but that might be a bit obvious.
The United States of Tara, btw, is the new show from Diablo Cody of Juno fame. It’s about a woman with multiple personalities trying to raise two daughters.
This is just amazing. I love Dexter and the room is just fantastic – inspired without being gory, beautiful, clean, simply breathtaking. Thanks so much for highlighting these! I love them.

Holy cow! The rooms are so inspirational. I love the white dining area. I love the big blue, high back chair in the first pic. The living room with those chandeliers and the bold print on the sofas….love it.

Is the light fixture in the top photo a lobster net?? I love the colors in that room.
