Hi Everyone, It’s Tootie & Billie of ReForm School reporting for duty from Sunny L.A. We’re just tickled pink that our very first stint as guest bloggers is on Design Sponge (Thanks Grace!).

So here is what we have in store for all of you this week… Everyday we’ll be introducing one of our favorite neighbors here in the Sunset Junction. Although often known as a rough and tough neighborhood, Silverlake’s diversity in cultures and flavorful characteristics have drawn all of these shop owners to this special little nook in L.A. The Junction is filled with forward thinking, progressive people who all lend to the charm of the neighborhood.

We’ll also be featuring some of our favorite Los Angeles and California artists. Look forward to sneak peeks into their studios and work spaces along with photos of their current and past works. Who knows.. it may even inspire you to quit your job, pack up and move to Cali and become an artist yourself (or just live vicariously through their work).

But Wait… There’s more! We also have a little give-away planned. One of the artists we will be featuring this week also goes by the psedonuym Jenny Pennywood. The first reader who can guess the artist will win a signed and limited edition Jenny Pennywood print. Is Jenny a girl? Or perhaps a boy inspired by a girl?
