LOVE the brightness of that first painting. And the geometry of the last photo.
Calvin Burton’s work in person is incredibly stunning. He has this amazing play between surface brush strokes and depth of field – and the eye travels through both texture and color between the fields. They’re a good sized painting too, so you can be really enveloped by the feeling. And the colors in person are just gorgeous.
