i’ve been watching that awful rachel zoe project show on repeat this weekend and now i have her catch phrase “I DIE!” stuck in my head (which means, in zoe language, that something is fantastic). so much so that i had to stop myself from saying “D-I-E” when i first saw this gorgeous tea-towel calendar from michelle engel bencsko at cicada studio. thankfully i didn’t say anything out loud but that woman is starting to get into my head. she has such a great way with clothes but lord does she need to eat something. anyway, back to the point- this beautiful, limited-edition calendar from cicada studio is available right here at etsy for $28. be sure to scoop one up before they’re gone! [thanks, michelle!]
ps: michelle’s fabric is fantastic, too. click here to check it out.

Classic with a touch of vintage. How cool is having a paperless option (that still has a function after 2008)?! Nice work, Michelle!! :)
I want that lion cushion!
i’m really wishing i hadn’t set up the r.zoe recording, but i couldn’t resist. die.
the calender is cute, but that little lion is bananas! (another rachel zoe catch phrase) (it’s scary, but her commentary is kind of becoming my inner voice).
I DIE for that lion!
I just bought this calendar a few days ago! It’s a refreshing change from the various paper calendars out there. Although I’ll probably end up buying a paper one also – one can never have too many calendars, right?
I found the lion!

Definitely a textile designer to keep an eye on….love her work
I am so relieved that I’m not the only one who has D I E in my head.
The one that is stuck in my head from Rachel Zoe is “Shut it down…”
Love the lion pillow!
thank you for finding that lion cushion. it’s compelling – I MUST HAVE IT
In case you are interested, Michelle Engel Bencsko has written a post about some of her fellow textile designers over at Indie Fixx today. You can read it here.

All I did was watch a couple of minutes of clips of Rachel Zoe’s catch phrases on Jezebel and I can’t get them out of my head either! Have also been saying “bananas” a lot.
You are so funny. My mom and I have been saying I die all week. I am trying really hard not to say it on my blog comments and in front of anybody else. Put me in a coffin right now with that calendar. I d-I.E. die. I had to get that one out. LOL
ohh I love that calendar!
the calendar is so pretty!
