i know, i know (really, i know). enough with the owls already. but how cute is the photo below? when i look for too long it elicits the sort of noise i make when i see a puppy on the street. if owls aren’t your thing, artist traci french at blissful images has plenty of lovely, non-owl images as well. click here to check out and shop her etsy store (prices range from $14-$59). thanks, traci!

[stay tuned for a new d*s video at 12 today! we're bake-ing with two special guys. hint, hint...]

Her images are beautiful

I say on with the owls! But I just also posted owls, so maybe I’m partial…but I’m perfectly okay with that.

yes, in general, i’m tired of owls. but seeing this photo makes me realize that i’m sick of *stylized* owls…there is nothing, nothing to compare with the real thing….and she captures it really beautifully….the detail is really thoughtful.

First of all … yay Mrs. French! Can’t love her work any more than I do.

On owls (and birds): I firmly resisted doing anything owl or bird related in my shop, yet I was inundated with requests for them. Can’t fight the popular vote (ha!) and surprisingly, they’ve grown on me.

I do agree with Lisa that the real thing trumps the stylized version hands down.

The Lil Bee

Oh, I love these! The only reason I haven’t already bought any of Traci’s photos is because I am moving to my new home on Tuesday and need to figure out the decor first. But I am absolutely smitten with her work and so proud of her:) Couldn’t happen to a nicer, more talented girl.
