yesterday lindsay at hammerpress sent over a link to these seriously cool pillows her friend has created at the etsy shop sown. sown is the work of raleigh-based graphic designer rebecca tegtmeyer and her first collection on etsy is a gorgeous series of pillows that combine vintage feed bags and modern fabric. she has a series coming up made with henry road fabrics so stay tuned for that. in the meantime you can check out and shop her full collection right here.

these are really beautiful. i was thinking of making pillows with the vintage fabric i just bought, so this is very inspirational.
looks like she’s using daisy janie’s printed fabrics. very nice! love the brown and orange together.
i see some jan diCintio fabrics! very nice pillows – i love the top one.
What a great pairing – so nice to see my fabrics used in such a thoughtful, eye-catching way. Rebecca has a great design aesthetic – she’s one to watch!
Thanks Shannon and Amy for the recognition and comments!
