after sarah’s super creative “fantasy wedding” post yesterday (including one version with a marching band playing ‘what about love’ by heart) i couldn’t resist sharing a little more wedding fun with these beautiful wedding invites and cards from designer chase simmering. chase in getting married in 3 weeks (congrats) and decided to design these invites with the help of katie pertiet (who did the dandelion and dragonfly graphics). i love how simple and stylish they are- and the old wooden cheese boxes that are being used as centerpieces for each table are so lovely (chase found them on ebay for $2 each). things like this remind me i need to get off my behind and start making something with my own two hands again. great work, chase!

wow, these are, like, my dream wedding invitations. i LOVE them — especially the dragonfly-wing ones.
Beautiful & creative- I would love to see more pictures after the wedding
oh, my, the invitations, graphics, and centerpieces are all so beautiful — and harmonize so nicely with one another. amazing!
Everything is lovely. But why can I never find such great ebay deals?
i am a fan of the addressing of the envelopes. pretty cool color choices as well.
Could you tell us where he got those envelopes?
I love everything about them! The colours, the graphics, the calligraphy/fonts and the final little design detail of ‘heart’ postage stamps!
Love the centerpiece idea! Box would also look lovely filled with planted shamrocks or wheatgrass.
