Don’t spend too much on your wedding. Every person I know who had a lavish wedding (in my book 25K or more) has divorced within the first few years of marriage. It’s not worth going into debt and even if you can pay cash for it the money is far better spent as a rainy day fund.
Wow, those are gorgeous. I’m finding I’m really into paper now; maybe it’s a reaction to being online all the time. I just made some stationery and lined the envelopes. Every time I do this I can’t believe that something so easy to do has so much impact dressing up stationery. You can even recycle/reuse nice printed magazines and catalogs for the liners. Here’s the free stationery template and instructions: http://www.merrimentdesign.com/
Those are great! I have found that I tend to stockpile stationary and never write letters, but since this week I have challenged myself to send one piece of ‘snail mail’ a day, I’m going to pick some of those up!
okay I love Vera Wang, but I am sick of these designers who think their name can go on everything, personally there are soo many better stationery/letterpress designers out there why would you need Vera Wang? Perhaps for the name, but I could think of a dozen fabulous other stationery designers I would rather have sorry!!
ohhh so pretty, i love the colors. vera is getting quite good with the pulp products.
ooh i thought that those were embossed envelopes and i got really excited. too excited probably, so i suppose it’s a good thing that they are just cards.
I think these are really nice, but I see Ellen’s point (about designers putting their name on anything/everything)… But as someone with diverse interests, I guess I can understand it.
Oh! I was in Kate’s Paperie yesterday admiring Vera Wang stationery. Just lovely!
You should check out the luscious verde line. They are in select stores everywhere and do some really unique stationery designs!
i couldnt find these specific notecards on the vera wang site…can some one direct me to them?
It is such a nice card…
