new: yellow owl workshop

1_17.jpg
next week i’m heading out to SF for a little trip to visit friends, do some work and check out julia and caitlin‘s show at rare device. SF is always one of my favorite cities to visit and i’m hoping to be able to catch some of my new favorite designers- like christine and evan of yellow owl workshop. i got to meet christine and evan at this year’s stationery show and catch a glimpse of the new stamp collection they’d be launching soon- and today it’s finally online and ready for purchase. yellow owl’s stamp sets come in two styles- “landscape” and “seascape” each available for $36.50. what i love about the stamp sets is that each one comes with 5 separate stamps that can be used individually or as a group to create the image you see on each box top.

yellow owl also has some fun new pencil sets up (i’m particularly fond of the “i’m sorry for this blog” pencil) and is now selling the beautiful painted wooden panels that were in display at the stationery show. you can click here to shop yellow owl’s full collection or to drop them a line. thanks to evan for the heads up about the new goods online!

I LOVE those stamp boxes! Overall very cool. Why did stamps ever stop being popular??

I loved meeting these two at the NSS as well. Nicest couple ever. And her work is fantastic. Great update.

i just got 2 birthday presents from Rare Device which my best friend describes as “the perfect place to find gifts” – i ended up with a carved apple box by Miss Natalie and a porcelain key necklace. I love their selection!
