when i was in san francisco 2 weeks ago i was so delighted to see heather from skinny laminx‘s tea towels for sale at heath ceramics in sausalito. in addition to her selection at heath, she just released a great new set of napkins based on the specimens paper cut she did earlier this year. available in pale grey and yellow (on cotton hopsack), the napkins are for sale right here for $6.50 each.

I like these a lot, and was very pleased with the fabric quality of the apron I ordered from skinny laminx.
I just think everything she does is brilliant–I so wish I could have a coupld of those coffee mugs she’s doing.
i love the patterns. lovely work!~
If you find yourself in greenpoint brooklyn, I carry Heather’s lovely Tea towels in my shop jan & äya as well.
I am such a huge fan of hers. I actually just bought the Heath Ceramics Tote that she designed! If you haven’t seen it…. simply fabulous.
Having finally seen Heather’s work in person [she's in this tea towel exhibit I curated], I have to add that the the photos don’t do it justice! Her use of color is great, and the base textiles have a really rich texture and some subtle color variations that you can only see in person. I love seeing her new stuff, too; thanks for posting!
Yea! I live in Sausalito and had never known about Heath Ceramics. I’m going to check it out this weekend.
