i visited a friend’s house yesterday and she had this beautiful plate hanging on her wall by the front door. apparently they was a small dent in the wall behind the plate and she used to to both camouflage the spot and add a little color in the entryway. such a clever idea. I always think that I can remember all of these patterns when I go to pant pottery, and then I think I can actually execute them. HA! So beautiful like a wall brooch.
