I LOVE those fabric swatches that look like dyed blades of grass!! Especially the one with the greens and the purples, which could make elegant pillowcases to accent my mom’s new black sofa…

I just had to comment about the name of the marimekko fabric, matkalla maalle, it means “on the way to the countryside” and it reminds me of the scenes you might see from the car window while driving to the summer cottage or to meet you grandmother on summer holiday
