ok! thanks to all of the fantastic boston residents in the audience, we’ve got a date, time and location for both meetups this summer! our speakers will be announced asap but i wanted to put our meetup dates out there so we could start the rsvp process. please note: rsvps are NOT necessary to attend, they’re just a big help in gauging how much food and drink i’ll need for each event.
baltimore biz ladies meetup:
- date: thursday, july 31st
- time: 6:30pm- 8:30pm
- location: american visionary museum, 800 key highway (click here for directions)
- baltimore rsvp: please send an email right here and put “baltimore rsvp” in the subject line
- to bring: biz ladies meetups are a pot-luck affair so if you can, please bring a small snack with you or a drink (ie: a liter of soda or a bag of cookies)
boston biz ladies meetup:
- date: thursday, august 14th
- time: 7:00pm- 9:00pm
- location: west elm boston, 160 brookline avenue (click here for directions)
- boston rsvp: please send an email right here and put “boston rsvp” in the subject line
- to bring: biz ladies meetups are a pot-luck affair so if you can, please bring a small snack with you or a drink (ie: a liter of soda or a bag of cookies)

right after the baltimore meetup (9 pm to be exact), the american visionary arts museum will be showing “harold and maude” for their flicks on the hill series. the movie is projected on the side of the AVAM. what fun!

Dear Grace, no need to post the comment, but puleeeze, when you visit the San Francisco Bay Area the next time, please please take the time to visit the Rosie the Riveter historical site in Richmond-just across the bay from SF. It will give a whole new meaning to “We can do it”. I can just about guarantee that you will cry at some point in your visit. THOSE women were amazing, and some still are. It isn’t alot now, but some day hopefully this new National Park will give recognition where it is due.
