things i’m loving: all-natural edition

this morning i’m feeling like a mixture of antiques and naturals. even though our house is far from cabin-chic, i woke up this morning wanting to bring in tons of branches and tree-related designs. and along with them? little touches of antique metal- like these vintage keys from jayson home and garden. i think in my dream life i would have rotating rooms so i could roll one back and start fresh every few weeks with a new look and feel. i’m not sure if it’s because i’m a gemini or i’m just at a point in my life where my style is always changing, but lately i’m having a hard time settling on one look. as soon as i’ve decided on colors and decoration i want to re-do everything all over again. thankfully i have ac to keep me from forever re-decorating. but man, if i was single my house would soo be a hodge podge of different looks.

[image above, clockwise from top left: curtis jere cherry tree sculpture at 1st dibs, antique key $8, wooden knuckles $40, antique jumbo key $24, clint dining table, wood yo-yo $20, orange bertoia chair $550 (i want this so badly i can literally feel myself sitting in it already), antique key and lock $32, root lamp $675]

Perhaps it IS a Gemini thing….most girls love shoes or bags or jewelry – I love furniture! I’ve already warned my husband that when we have the funds, I’ll be redecorating every couple of years! I love so many different styles that I CAN’T just choose one!

I am Gemini and an interior design student and feel exactly the same way…..there are so many things that I love that I constantly feel the need to change my apartment and find it EXTREMELY hard to settle on one look! I’m moving to a new apartment tomorrow and I have about 5 different looks in my head for the new place…..
