re-trouve 565

i have a serious case of chair-envy: these gorgeous wire chairs from patricia urquiola (she can do no wrong these days in my book) for emu would be absolutely perfect for a walk-in dressing room or powder room. i’d love to snag one of the blue chairs with it’s soft polka-dotted fabric…

Because these were designed to be outdoor chairs I hadn’t even considered the notion of having one indoors (duh me) but now that you mention it, I’m seeing them in a whole new light!

these are beyond stunning!!! they conger up so many great things: wicker peacock chairs, spirographs, lace…. i’d love love love to use them in a breakfast nook around a sarrinen table….

Love the green & blue one at center. They look like they’d make awesome garden seating.

Blue and green should definitely be seen! Actually, it would nice to combine several different ones… By the way: “chair-envy” is such a great word =D English is not my first language so I’m wondering whether this word is becoming an expression or if it’s an one-off made by you just now?

Anyone know where one can purchase these? I did a google search, but no stockists coming up. Thanks!

yes my immediate thought was outdoor seating as well, but i’m sure my cat would immediately claim it for herself! the cushion with the back to it screams kitty magnet!

I ADORE these chairs! They remind me also of the peacock chair which i’ve always liked. Loving everything single little scrap of this fantabulous D*S website :)

I love, love, love these chairs!! I agree with Biba they remind of Mortisha Adams peacock chair on the old Adams Family TV show.

I love the white dotted fabric on the cushions. Does anyone know where to buy a similar fabric, suitable for outdoors? I’d like to make my own cushions as $100 each is a bit out of my price range!
