these chandeliers have already made the internet-rounds but i’m loving them too much not to share. these brooklyn-made chandeliers from michael mchale combine my favorite elements: something a little industrial meets something majorly glam (they remind me of a more industrial version of the cellula chandelier). you can see more of michael’s work right here…

Love the industrial, glitzy mix combo,
very nice!
I wish I had a great big deck and a garden because this chandelier looks awesome in my imaginary backyard :)
Awesome! And Grace, though you may have seen it on a few blogs before… yours may be the only design blog on someone’s RSS feed (like me). Keep posting beautiful things regardless of who else posted about them. :)
Hmm… Am I the only one who’s not into this?
Particularly like the second one, Grace! Hadn’t even heard or seen of these so glad that you posted :)
I’m sure not everyone is into this Kristan. While I like it…I bet I’d have to do some convincing with my partner. Y’know to each their own :)
cool! reminds me of Lee Bul…
this looks similar to the chandelier at hatfield’s restaurant in los angeles…. wonder if it was the same designer (?)
These are fantastic!! Originality on these is inspiring!!
Not my style necessarily, but still love these! Very creative and unique combination of elements.
I love those chandeliers, Industrial with a touch the glamour is exactly the style I want my house.
WOW, I’m speachless… in a good way!
Kristan, I’m with you. I think it looks tacky. Although I can appreciate the uniqueness.

Kristen and Pinni – I vote with you. It comes down on the tacky side for me, aren’t we done with bling yet? Trendy, but not a classic.
I love these lights!!! I think the contrast of the crude pipes and wiring and the crystals is wonderful. I like it because it is unpredictable and doesn’t conform. Creativity has it’s own style.
