this post combines two of my favorite things right now: diy projects and wedding dresses. designer mariana leung is a fashion designer and embroidery designer based in nyc. her embroidery designs are seriously gorgeous and i’m thrilled that we have a special diy project from her coming up next! stay tuned for that, in the meantime i wanted to share some of my favorite embroidery designs of mariana‘s- her work has been used by vera wang, monique l’huillier, anna sui, oscar de la renta and more. stay tuned for her diy project next…

so pretty.
I love this two-part post. How wonderful to be inspired by the beauty and talent of an artist/designer… and then give us the tools to create something similar…with a tutorial from the artist, herself!
very inspiring! thanks
Hi everyone !
As a huge embroidery fan (but still an amateur one), I’m ashamed I never thought of embroiding someting on my wedding dress… it’s wonderful.
I wonder what technique was used in the second motif ? I can’t make it out.
