In just about every town in the North Shore you’ll find an charming little farm stand. I visited Ingaldsby farm in Boxford, MA today to pick up my farm fresh eggs, honey and milk. I love to buy locally if I can and as the summer progresses I can enjoy getting all of my fruits and vegetables locally. They have a great bakery, cafe, garden center and a beautiful area to view their animals too.

Some of my favorites here are their jams & jellies, kettle corn, blueberry raspberry muffins and turkey pot pies.

A relaxing place to feel the summer breeze and enjoy a cup of coffee and a cider doughnut.

Visiting the farm animals around back is always a must. I love being friends with the chickens who provide my breakfast eggs!

Even if I’m not shopping for flowers and plants today, they have a beautiful selection in their garden center. It’s inspiring to to peruse their colorful pots and the sunny blooms of early summer!

Looks like a charming spot, Lisa. The shot of the interior is really great…stylishly homespun. Coffee and a cider doughnut? Uh…sign me up!!!
I’m a North Shore girl myself, but have never visited this place. It’s now on my list!
such down-to-earth goodness. makes me miss massachusetts! for all the big farmer’s markets here in LA, there’s no comparison for those small town family farm stands… thanks for sharing (:
