The surface materials and large proportions really remind me of what we see in architecture in the Pacific Northwest these days(must have crept across the Bering Straits!)
I love the look!
Oh wow– what is the wall of that last picture made of? Whatever it is, it’s fantastic!
-Love the texture of this wall!!! Your blog is AWSOME and I’m so happy I tripped accross it! It so inspires me! Thanks!

Love love love!
I admit, I’d probably feel it was a little bland for every day permanent living, but if vacation cabins/resorts were eco-friendly like this, I think people would love it.
Also, I don’t mean every eco-friendly house is too bland — I hope someday I can design one to my liking — just that this one wouldn’t suit me on a permanent basis. I’d love to visit in it for a while, though!
Very eye appealing. What material is that bathroom wall made of? I wish the window was larger but I understand why it isnt. Great post!
Designintuit.com features all kinds of Designer Showhouses, FYI.
