today i’m thrilled to welcome vane from bklyn bride to the d*s guest blog! over the course of the next few months i’ve invited some of my favorite wedding bloggers to join us on the guest blog to talk about all things ‘weddings’, whether that’s diy ideas, floral arrangements or decorations. vane recently celebrated her own (beautiful) wedding so i’m honored to have her back so soon after her honeymoon. she’ll be talking about her favorite brooklyn wedding vendors and sources this week- starting with floral designers today. she’s covered three of my favorites so i hope you’ll click here to check out her first posts. even if you’re not in the market for wedding content, vane’s posts will be inspirational for parties and any other sort of special event where beautiful flowers and decoration are in order.

just a quick note about this week: today through thursday will be devoted to coverage of this weekend’s (and this week’s) design shows. today i’m starting with a few long posts on icff and will continue tomorrow with surtex and the stationery show. there will be a few sneak peeks thrown in as well but for the most part i wanted to devote this week to some of the incredible design, and designers, i’ve met over the past few days. so stay tuned- icff 2008 is coming up next!
