i just wanted to take a moment out to welcome anyone new to design*sponge via this morning’s eco-friendly home goods segment that aired on abc news now. we’re thrilled to have you on the site and wanted to welcome you with a quick introduction to what design*sponge is all about. you can read more about our team and history right here, but here is a quick summary of the types of content we offer on a weekly basis, in addition to daily posts on new products, designers and trends:

• MONDAY: sneak peeks (home tours that highlight interesting interiors)
• TUESDAY: guides (each week we post either a new product guide or new city guide)
• WEDNESDAY: DIY projects (simple do-it-yourself projects that any crafty home-owner can complete)
• THURSDAY: before and afters (fantastic furniture and home makeovers submitted by readers)
• FRIDAY: in the kitchen with (our weekly food column featuring easy recipes from our favorite designers)
