good morning! as sad as i was to leave LA, at least it’s sunny and warm here today in brooklyn. i’m gearing up for sunday’s brooklyn flea (come on down if you’re in the area!) but i’ve got black and white on my mind. when i was in LA i walked past walnut wallpaper and saw a gorgeous black and white pattern on the wall. the shop was closed so i couldn’t go in but it kept that combo on my mind so i was happy to see something vaguely similar at pottery barn of all places. their ‘overlapping leaves‘ wallpaper is $84 a roll and would be perfect for a small space that needs a little visual interest. it’s great to see larger stores starting to carry wallpaper- i can’t wait to see if they start to reissue some vintage patterns and carry those. now that would be cool. click here to check out pottery barn’s overlapping leaves.

I go through serious black & white phases too! That wallpaper is particularly fantastic. It reminds me of Ferm Living’s Bindweed pattern – could that be the one you saw in Walnut Wallpaper?
O it looks so good, but let me tell you: I have a black and white bathroom and it is remorseless about dust, cat fur, the tiniest spot. Don’t install this one unless you like to clean.
so, so loverly. pottery barn, who would have thought???
Wow, this wallpaper is suprisingly nice. It looks like it’s the only paper they’re carrying. I also hope large chains start carrying wallpaper. Any ideas about putting up wallpaper in a rental apartment? I’m dying to do it but am petrified of the mess of taking it down the day I move.
Initially, I thought this was the Ferm paper that zee mentioned. I had no idea PB was getting into wallpaper. Thanks for pointing that out!
I looooooooooooove that.
That is goooorgeous!
I love the wallpaper, but I am really digging that white cottage style vanity. Love the shelf on the bottom!
pottery barn! who would have thunk
Wow, I love that bathroom! Aside from the wallpaper (I’m crazy about leaves in wallpaper), I really like the coral and the woven basket. And, rather oddly, I have the same black lacquer box that’s on the shelf- though those are easy to get here in Thailand. -X
