a d*s reader named guy passed along a link to this incredible brooklyn-based florist named nicolette camille. when it comes to flowers in brooklyn i tend to be a pretty loyal fan of saipua and sprout home but it’s wonderful to find a new resource who creates such incredible designs for weddings. we’re not getting married in brooklyn, but if we did, i’d definitely give nicolette a call. i was really taken by her earthy, organic arrangements and the way they blended into their surroundings so well. click here to see more of nicolette’s work.

Does anyone know what those large blooms are in the first picture? Are they peonies?
Lovely! I am in the midst of planning my Brooklyn wedding so I will surely investigate. I also look forward to any wedding related posts. Keep them coming! And congrats!
Wow! Her arrangements are beautiful. I especially love those incredible, pink peonies.

I believe she does flowers all over the tri-state area, not just brooklyn. I’m so glad you’ve included her in your site! Nicolette is a pleasure to work with, one of the sweetest people I have ever met, and her work is always phenomenal!
I think they’re called Charles Austin roses – that’s what was in my sister’s wedding bouquet, and they looked very similar to these (but pink).
PS – Thank you Grace for sharing this gorgeous resource!
They could be ranunculuses
Her work is amazing! Such good quality of flowers. And you know they all took a lot of work but somehow don’t look too “done.” Beautiful.
Too funny, I was admiring these pictures and thinking to myself how much they remind me of the flowers at my brother wedding this past summer in NYC. Then I realized…this blog spot is about Nikki! Small world. Nikki is one of my sisters close childhood friends and besides being a guest at my brothers wedding also did all of the flower arrangements. Her eye for color is unique and unmistakable. I’d recommend her to everyone. Martha watch out!
those bouquets are heavenly! wonderful work, nikki
Nicolette has an amazing talent she is a beautiful person with a great understands of people, her designs are perfect.
We have displayed Nicolette’s work at several events.
Everyone wants to know who did the flowers?
” Nicolette Camille Floral Design”
Thanks for this tip! I’ve never seen flowers like the ones in that first shot. Stunning. Nature is incredible, what designers do with it is breathtaking :)
Thank you for everyone’s lovely comments! And thank you Design Sponge for featuring my work!
Those large beautiful blooms are indeed peonies. That variety is called “coral charm”. Those beauties start out as a rich coral/pink color and they slowly fade to a soft peach/buff color just after peak bloom. They are exquisite!
all my best,
nicolette
I love the simplicity of this bouquet, yet there’s so many different flowers at the same time.
what beautiful boquets. almost makes me want to plan my wedding all over again! (almost…~)
I live in Savannah and got married in Savannah in September. Harvey Designs did my flowers….she did an amazing job! I think she is a SCAD grad too. If you have any Savannah questions, please email me!
Nicolette is a flower enthusiast, and a sincerely warm artist. She listens, suggests, and has a huge sense of whimsy in her work! I feel so lucky that Nicolette helped with our wedding, so lucky.
this is another beautiful shop in Red Hook, New York
The shop owner is really helpful and makes gorgeous arrangements.

Nicolette’s work is sublime. Her flower choices, designs and sensibilities are carefully yet so naturally selected. She assisted my husband and I with our wedding in Austin, Texas and it turned out so lovely. She even used flowers and leaves picked from our own garden to add the personal touches from our home and life. She was a joy to work with. We miss her sweet face and pleasant nature. Thank you again Nicolette for your beautiful work.

that first pic of the bouquet is breathtaking!
even though you’re not getting married here, another great brooklyn floral source is fonda at zuzu’s petals, right here is PS
Stacey at The Bloom Room in Asheville, N.C. did the flowers for my wedding — the little corsages she made for the grandmothers look almost IDENTICAL to those little boutonnières!
