A few of my favorite products at Velocity:

I have always loved this Cat Cocoon at Velocity- it is super great! But our cats would destroy it in just a few minutes. This Bullet Planter is great, too- we are going to Velocity next week so I may just have to get one of these. And last but not least, these Kraft Paper screens (One day when I have a large studio I want one of these
screens- what better way to divide a large room than with craft paper) and Puzzle screens (such a smart design) are incredible.

Alexander Girard:

Alexander Girard is probably my favorite designer. His work was so warm and kind. Here are a few of my favorite images of his work.

Jacklyn Loquidis:

One of my favorite designers in Birmingham is Jacklyn Loquidis of COHEN CARNAGGIO REYNOLDS. I spent many many hours talking with her and her husband Jason about design. We actually had a fun contest going for a while of who could find the best design ‘stuff’ via the thrift stores and ebay and around town. I think they beat me with a Knoll Credenza from a yard sale. Jacklyn has a blog called peppermags and these pictures of the hotel rooms are from it. Great finds, Jackie.

Vivienne Strauss: (my wonderful wife and best friend)

Not only is she the greatest wife in the world and the subject of tons of my work she is also an
accomplished artist. There has always been something about Vivienne’s work that has always made me happy. She has a real love for art and you can see it in her work. She has a wonderful sense of humor also.
