it’s been a while since we’ve posted some new lighting so i wanted to share these incredible new pieces from brooklyn designer lindsey adelman. these “birds and bees” table lights measure 13″ in diameters and are made from hand blown glass and cloth covered wire. i’ve seen lindsey’s work in person several times and can vouch for the fact that all of her work is truly stunning enough to serve both functional and fine art purposes. if you’re interested in investing in one of lindsey’s pieces (they’ll run you around $950 each) you can contact the future perfect for desiron to buy. Gorgeous! But will it be as lovely when it has to be filled with fluorescent bulbs? Sigh. I do hope we have some better looking bulb alternatives by the time beautiful incandescents are outlawed… Until then, I’ll spend my $950 on lighting where I know the bulb won’t show.
