it’s been one heck of a week here at d*s! we launched the diy contest finalists, the d*s scholarship, the d*s job board and now i’m thrilled to announce the date of the biz ladies meetup in los angeles: tuesday, april 15th! thanks to susie at dwr, we’ll be holding the last west coast meetup of this season at dwr beverly boulevard. i’ll have an update on the speakers next week but i just wanted to do a little “save the date!” today for anyone who’d like to come. i’ve never been to LA so i’m thrilled to make the trip out. hope to see you all there (if you’d like to rsvp just shoot me a line here). i’m off to make some more tea and kick the last dregs of this cold/flu things so i’ll see you all monday. until then, here’s a summary of this week’s highlights. Wow, congrats on such a productive week. Makes me want to cross off some things on my ‘design to-do list’. I like the new features—they add so much more depth to the already FABULOUS site!
Love that poster with the girl in yellow bikini! Any idea where I can find it??
I second that – I’d love to know where to get that fantastic yellow poster
I am so BUMMED! I’ve waited so long for Biz Ladies to come to LA, but now am moving to SF! Darn the luck. Do you have a Biz Ladies SF planned for 2008?
it’s an interesting poster, but in a child’s room?
Love that bed. Need that bed. Any idea where it’s from? I’ve searched high and low…

oh i’m so bummed we’re missing you! i don’t have anything planned yet but if i do arrange something for next fall i’ll be sure to add it to the site.
we did philly, chicago, portland, seattle, san francisco and now LA this year so i (and my wallet) need a little break.
i’m hoping to throw in a few surprise cities this summer though- all east coast though so i can save some money.
