Emily, Benard Nka sells his work through the Park Bench gallery in Cape Town. I’ll see if I can find out more from them.

JenniferG, we treated our kitchen countertops with an natural product called ProNature. It’s a beeswax, citrus oil and linseed oil mix, and needs a 6-monthly application, but it’s very easy to do. Very good product!

I’d seen these on flickr but it’s great to read Heather’s descriptions here and hear about where she finds these things. (Someone asked: I think a “carboot sale” would be called a “trunk sale” in the States.)
