I cannot understand this clock’s epidemic-like popularity. The last thing I want to do in the morning is chase down some beeping hunk o’ junk. Does ANYONE ?

I’m with ebeth! As a non-morning person, I could see this becoming the bane of my existence, and the start to many a terrible day.
My clocky wakes me up every morning. Thanks goodness I have something to chase to pop me out of my blissful dreams. Love it!

However, I think that’s the point. It takes a lot to get my butt out of my comfy bed! This would do the trick.
let me just tell you. i have a clocky. and while it is the only alarm clock that works for me, it scares the livin’ HOOHAH out of me every single morning.
Summary: Clocky is awesome, but not for you if you like to slowly drift out of peaceful sleep!
You know, I love me some MIT Media Lab and all of the crazy art-meets-technology-meets-life goodness that spews forth from their collective brain cells…but Clocky freaks me out! I will keep my quiet, vintage chromed mouse-head bedside lamp! It neither speaks nor rolls…just watches.
