Rock-A-Bye

chriskeenan.jpg
Came across these lovely “rocking bowls” by London-based ceramic artist Chris Keenan. They have a wonderful sense of movement and I love the mix of subtle patterns. The blue, white, and brown tones are all so soothing together. You can see more of his work here. (bottom vignette photo via Interior Design magazine article). The “Seedheads” tablecloth in the lower photo is designed by Angie Lewin for St. Jude’s fabrics.

Beautiful ceramics. Chris Keenan has many similarities to a favorite ceramic artist of mine up here in British Columbia, Canada. Please take a look at Gailan Ngan’ s work. She is well known for her ‘wobble’ bowls. Her website is: http://www.gailanngan.com.
Have a nice day!
Sincerely,
Kate

Hello again,
I just posted a comment a moment ago and made a mistake by adding a period at the end of the link I provided. If interested in looking at the artists work please remove the final period. The website is:

Sorry about that.
Take care,
Kate
