grainy picture or not, i want to live in this room. jl’s daily dose of design blog had a yellow roundup the other day and i have a hard time resisting yellow right now. i don’t know what it is about that cheery shade by it always lifts me up. jl’s got several other images to check out in her yellow roundup- including one from raya carlisle’s home.

wow, gorgeous room (and wallpaper)! But that comes mighty close to my threshold for the color. I personally find too much yellow to be irritating. Is that weird?

I used to think I couldn’t live with yellow. But now, I really, really can. I saw a yellow bathroom in Domino once; so nice.

It’s from Cole & Son – I have a sample of it but I used it to cover a notebook so I can’t look at the back for the name – cow parsley probably…

i’m in heaven with all the yellow that is in the design world lately (is it me or is it around more now? maybe there just wasn’t as much in argentina…) it’t just what you say: so happy.
Stencillibrary.com has a big stencil just like this which I used in my “office nook”. So you tape off a section of your wall (or don’t), paint it in a yellow, paint stencil in white as many places you want or paint in varying sahdes of white cut with galze so you get the depth of a field. Love this

I just bought a yellow bag from boden … with a perfect grey lining. I think that yellow is my new favorite color for spring.
