i nearly grinned myself to death this morning reading through julie and kathryn‘s guest blog post this morning. after going on a (red) color binge yesterday i was thrilled to see their post all about working with colors in your home. their post is bursting with beautiful interiors that work with contrasting color, unified color and all other sorts of beautiful, bold hues. click here to check it out- it’s a must- see. [thanks to the perfectbound girls for all of their great work at the guest blog so far]

OMG… I love the layered plate wall display.
the chair looks great! love it! i found a similar chair on the street (for free) and in very good condition a few months ago. it’s just waiting for a revival! did you reupholster this yourself or have it done, professionally? thanks, maura
I absolutly love the plate display! How & with what did you hang them with?
yay julie and kathryn!
I’m stealing the plate display idea right away, fantastic!!!
I love the entryway… I know the striking blue is the point, but I am always taken by people that have cute entry setups. Oh, and narrow Victorian hallways are great too. All in all, great.
I love this!
Where could I find a chair like that? I LOVE it. Love the shape, size and the fabric? Any ideas? Or where could I find that fabric to upholster a thrift find?
Look in Ikea cabinets if you have any
The plate display is very cool! Certainly not your grandmother’s dishes! The colors are also wonderful!
