		<description>i added a slight variation which i hope will make it more insulating. after the ribbing i knit in the front and back of each stitch so i would have double the number of stitches. then i worked the body in double knit (k1, s1 purl-wise). then on the row before the bottom ribbing i k2tog all the way across to end up with the original number of stitches.  this will make the body of it double thickness!

also, i have a 4 cup bodum and it took casting on 40 stitches on size 5 needles with worsted weight yarn for it to fit with my guage. happy knitting/coffee drinking!</description>
