wisteria design

27_justimage1.jpg
today is sneak peek monday so i thought it would be fun to share some of the beautiful interiors styles by new york city editor/stylist/art director sherry akbar. sherry runs wisteria design in manhattan and was formerly an editor at good housekeeping and then real simple. i recognized her work instantly and had such a great time looking through the spreads she styled (she’s got such a great eye for color and texture). my favorites are above and below but you can view sherry’s full portfolio online right here. enjoy! [thanks, sherry!]

LOVE the cork board screen/room divider. What an ingenious idea for an office. Beautiful and functional, not to mention a great diy project!!

“Styling” sounds like it would be such a fun job! I’m sure it has its headaches like any other profession but it sounds like it would be like doing the fun part of Interior Design all the time!

i’m partial to graphic patterns, but i have always loved the beautiful floral design in the first photo, it isn’t too in-your-face. can’t wait to see her portfolio!

I love how everything looks so casual and light and still so pulled together. And I agree with Heidi…the cheese graters are brilliant.
