This is fantastic! It seems so different from the things you usually feature on your blog. His work is like haute couture for the home.

I agree with Kristi. I read this blog often and it’s great but I do wish we could see more of this quality of design and art work and a little less of (or at least along side of) “cute” cartoons from etsy. Wiseman’s work is truly exceptionally beautiful!

this is a custom piece david created. you can contact him via his website above if you’d like to comission a piece. in terms of pricing i’d assume it’s not really a budget buy. but if you have the budget for a custom project i couldn’t recommend david more highly. he’s a great guy and a very talented designer.

I’m a good friend of David’s – I thought you all might like to know that as beautiful as his artwork may be, he’s an ever better human being. (If you can imagine that!)
this was awesome to see!
i am highly drawn to what i think of as “ornately modified and constructed nature” items and objects… this falls under that definition. my friends tease me about it but i think it has to do with being a young architect and the juxtaposition between something of this “nature” with modern thought (or hopes) of construction.
plus, at the risk of sounding cursory, mister wiseman is very attractive… ha.
His work is so beautiful it actually hurts. Unbelievable.
