I am so inspired by colour, and love to see how others use colour too, how they are inspired by their surroundings and their obsessions. My favourite colours are red and green, rich blood red, and soft minty green and this mixed with black and white is pretty much how I dress and how I have decorated my house. But when it comes to craft and
handmade I try to lash out a little. Two women who inspire me with colour are Iris from the blog knitting iris and Jane Brocket from Yarnstorm.
Both of these women are self taught crafters/artists who bring colour
into all aspects of their life – especially their craft.

I love the way that Iris uses her country landscape and the changing
seasons to inspire her colour choices.

And the way that Jane uses her more urban environment to find colours
in her everyday life.
