d*s reader miranda sent in this fantastic “after” project she finished using her grandmother’s bench. after sanding down the bench she repainted the frame in a cheerful pale blue and used affordable ikea fabric to reupholstery the seat. miranda didn’t have a before shot but the photo below was a dead ringer in color and condition so we added it to give an idea of how far the piece has come. stay tuned for another before/after at 1pm that’s also part sneak peek! yes, i mentioned above that it wasn’t the same bench. she didn’t have a before picture so we found a similar bench in color and condition.
